Priscilla Pope-Levison's research includes topics in Women's Studies, History of American Christianity, Wesleyan Studies, Contextual Theology, Evangelism, Ecumenism, the Wesleyan/Holiness movement, and the global Methodist deaconess movement.
Dr. Pope-Levison was also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Manchester Wesley Research Centre, summer 2016. Her research project focused on Women in the Pentecostal League of Prayer (an interdenominational holiness movement established in 1891). Two articles from her research were published in Wesley and Methodist Studies, 10:1 (Jan. 2018): 46-65, and Wesley and Methodist Studies,11:1(2019): 61-91.
