Thesis title: ‘Purifying the Consciousness: Cult, Defilement, and the Perpetual Heavenly Blood of Jesus in the Epistle to the Hebrews.’ Published as Purifying the Consciousness in Hebrews: Cult, Defilement and the Perpetual Heavenly Blood of Jesus, LNTS (Bloomsbury T&T Clark, 2023).

Joshua finished his doctoral thesis in 2021 under the supervision of Dr Svetlana Khobnya & Dr Kent Brower. His thesis argued that the purification of the consciousness of sin, via Jesus' perpetual heavenly blood offering, is a vital motif for understanding Hebrews' sacrificial argumentation, and vice-versa. It was published as Purifying the Consciousness in Hebrews.

Joshua is a Visiting Lecturer at Nazarene Theological College. He is also a Pastor in Manchester and the Leadership Programme Director for the Pioneer UK Network of Churches.
