‘Discernment in First Corinthians: An Eschatological Calling into the Wisdom of God’ (NTC, 2015)

James finished his doctoral research at Nazarene Theological College in 2015 under the supervision of Dr Kent E. Brower and Dr Sarah K. Whittle. His thesis investigated the theological and conceptual use of discernment in First Corinthians in its mediation of spiritual realities within human perceptual reality. James holds an MAT with a Biblical Studies concentration from Fuller Theological Seminary and a BA in Biblical Studies from Barclay College. Living in Manitou Springs, Colorado, USA, with his wife, Beth, he is currently the Pastor of Manitou Springs Ministries and Adjunct Assistant Professor of New Testament with Fuller Theological Seminary. James is a fellow of the Institute for Biblical Research and also a member of the Society of Biblical Literature, British New Testament Society, and Tyndale Fellowship.
