Jacqueline Hanover, ''The Role of the Spiritual Senses in Contemporary Mission with Particular Reference to John Wesley’s Employment of the Spiritual Senses: A Revised Correlational Approach' (Cliff College, 2018).
Jacqueline's doctoral research in Missiology and Spirituality at Cliff College focused on a re-examination of the doctrine of the Spiritual Senses, with particular reference to Wesleyan thought and practice, and its significance for missiology in the early 21st Century. Her contribution to knowledge consists in the attempt to bring together this aspect of the field of spirituality with the field of evangelistic mission. Her work has three main areas of focus: Spiritual Senses (with particular reference to John Wesley's theology), Sacramental Spirituality (with particular focus on life as a Sacrament), and Evangelistic Mission (with particular focus on spiritual age/culture).
